Mike has been trying to bring the MiniMig 68k HDL (TG68k) to an Amiga FPGA as a low cost alternative to Vampire Apollo Core. The preliminary work is complete, the 68020 compatible prototype is getting 68040@25MHz like artificial benchmarks.
Two days ago he release a Physical 3D design of what it will look like, and hinted that he'd like to bring it to the AtariST (albeit with some HDL changes for bus error etc. and a different address map)
