CPU StressTest

Post by drwhy »

Hi !

What is the best software to StressTest the CPU on TerribleFire cards for a long period (lets say 1-3 hours) ?

So far I found AIBB, SysSpeed & SysInfo but all these programs are doing only short test, or lets say
i do not know how to change the duration of the tests.

... need some advice, please

Memory testing programs like YAART may also put some pressure on the memory bus.

I don't think YAART works on Amigas :D

It does if you are running EmuTOS ;)

And i think there should be similar programs also for Amigas. Typically, you should be able to specify the number of iterations, so you can let them run for quite some time. And it will immediately tell you when there are any problems because of that (which was the purpose of the OP i guess)

The microbotics ram test for the Amiga is quite comprehensive and allows iterations, as does Amiga Test Kit, but I wouldn't say this translates well to CPU stress testing. povray is a top choice!
