External HDD As well as TF536 IDE (AlphData/BSC AT-bus)

Right....Awhile ago to use with my A500+this was before i found the Awesome TF534 then later TF536

ok...me being me and wanting to plug in EVERY THING just because i can... :roll: Ive been trying to get the AlphaData working with the TF536...Not that i need more Storage but i would like to use the AlphaData as a way of transferring data etc...and even add a CD-Rom drive.

the AplhaData uses Polled I/O and not DMA....It`s also got its own Boot rom.....Right I`m also trying to use a SD2IDE adapter....Ok if i setup the SD card with Winuae and FFS 1GB partion then plug it into the AlphaData It shows up on the Workbench....I can Read from it and transfer data.....But if i Write to the SD card the Alphadata partion/SD card disappears and after a Reboot its NDOS or uninalized(?) Ive used HDIstools v2.7 boot disk.....Every HDinstools see the HDD(macanical)...SD cards.....Even HDtoolbox Sees the AlphaData(octagon.device).....I have also used Octapussy and get the same(2nd.scsi.device)..Ive tried...keeping the Partion under 850mb(the same size as the HDD that came with it) also..

My 3.1 rom...and 3.1.4 roms

So would my issues be down to the TF536....? i hear It only likes a few Cards...and has DMA issues....?(my retina ZII card does not work with the TF536 as the ram is not probed...this works with the 68000)

Im not sure all the parameters in the HDIstoolbox(FFS) has the right Dos settings/identifier/Maxtransfer/block size etc as ive only used PFS3 in the past....

Any Help on anything related to this post will be Helpful...I did have a Rev5 A500 i should have kept to set the drive up on that Machine and test etc then plug the AlphaData into the A500+ to see if its the TF536.
