Found this last night.
It's pretty hard, but I miss these types of games and keep coming back to it.

I can't get past the 4th level. It needs a hack. :lol:atari030 wrote: 04 Sep 2020 15:19 I remember that one, it was tough, but rewarding. Skulls was another that springs to mind, mostly the music. I loved games like that, that pushed a basic ST to the limit, I had a 2.5MB STFM back in those days.

Re: NOVA
I seem to spend more time fixing things than playing with them... Monopoly was the first game I got into on the MegaSTE after I reinstalled the hard drive last month. Bloody addictive. I suck at shoot em ups, I used to be mediocre, now I'm just rubbish at it.

Re: NOVA
That's been me with both the PC and Atari  Although in my defense I am making everything more reliable/stable.
I'm probably not that good but I like things where I don't have to think. Games are too thinky now. I got GTA5 for the PC and don't even do the missions. I just drive around like a nutter.

Re: NOVA
I can type listings on the 130XE in faster than the Xbox 1s can install. I still fall back on the MegaSTE for most games. The unmolested one, that is.
I have also been playing Dune on the CT2 Falcon a bit, that's quite frustratingly addictive.

Re: NOVA
Thanks for the quick reply.
Ah. OK...I might leave it for now then...and work out how I can accelerate my Falcon for a reasonable (i..e. relatively small) sum...can't afford a CT60 or anything like that. :(
I did get a Nemesis for it...but never had the time to fit it back in the 90s...might come to light at some point while sorting through all my old kit I suppose.
