will the kit in the shop for the asp 34 work on the asp 34 -2
i notice some values are slightly different , or is it just a case of ordering the differnt values.

It should work. I compared the values in the kit in his store with his list of the caps fitted and replacement part on the two models in the info link.

Exxos uses larger values on some of the caps.

it was mainly the voltage on the 2 * 33uf caps with them being 350v and the replaments 47uf 250v .

Since this information could be dangerously misinterpreted by other readers, I feel compelled to add an important remark: The DC voltage after mains rectification is √2 * mains voltage. Therefore, (in countries with 230 - 240 V mains voltage) the large filter capacitor after the the rectified needs to withstand approx. 350 V!

In case of the ASP34 (at least according to the schematic) they used two 250 V capacitors in series, so each only gets half the voltage, which is why they don't go "boom" in countries with 230 - 240 V mains voltage.

Yep as @czietz says, they are in series so 250vdc x 2 = 500vdc which is overkill for mains really.
