PHIHONG PSM 2512-2 REV A2 Capacitor replacement help

Hi,

I have a PHIHONG PSM 2512-2 REV A2 in my Atari STE, I would like to recap this, I have looked at the options given the current caps regarding capacitancy, voltage, height, diameter and tried to consider the ripple amount.

I have come up with the following suggested replacements from RS Components, I would have like to have gone for Panasonic but couldn't seem to find the right combination.

What are people thoughts on the followng:

Original - C5 - 1 x 400v 47uF 85c (TEAPO) 22D X 25H mm

You can use higher voltages. Just have to check physical dimensions. Generally that the dia and pitch, height there is normally plenty of.

Then a quick look, it looks like you can go from 900mA ripple to 2.6amps.

Does your power supply have a rifa capacitor on it a .01uf x2 275v rectangular shape. Those caps must be replaced they are the worst smelling smoke bombs. Find a Panasonic replacement sometime the parts are listed as 10nf x2 275 polypropylene
