Hi,
I have just received my new UltraSatan from Lotharek.
I connected this to my 1040STE, imaged an SD card in my PC, I copied SYSINFO.PRG to the SD on the PC.
I inserted the SD into the UltraSatan in the Atari, I was able to read and write the SYSINFO.PRG from the SD to the internal floppy.
I executed the SYSINFO.PRG from both the SD and Floppy disk, this worked fine.
I then tried to write the SYSINFO.PRG from the floppy back to the SD and it completely corrupted the SD, files name, folders, pretty much everything corrupted including filename, etc.
I have checked and I have a DMA CO25913-38 PH23-030 9L4 08 installed in the Atari.
I have purchased a socket and a certified DMA from Exxos which is DMA CO25913-38 PH23-030 6J1 81
From reading it sounds as if a number of factors can contribute to the issue I have, my first question is will just replacing the DMA with the one purchased from Exxos likely rectify the issue?
I have other questions regarding replacing the capacitors on the PSU as I can't see a replacement PSU available at the moment, I also understand there was a SIL Resistor Fix, is this still required?
Any suggestions gratefully received.

Re: UltraSatan corruption
Replacing the DMA chip may work, were generally replacing the CPU and doing various other fixes is the way to go currently..
