Hi All,
The latest batch of Atari version of the TF536 is now under test and available for purchase.
64mb versions with CPU tested to work for at least 6 hours using Gembench, Yaart, Frontier and exxos's 50mhz cpu exerciser.
Priced at £140 each plus postage.
Please PM me if interested.
(Ceramic cpu shown as example and not included for £140 as these are significantly more expensive to source)

Re: For Sale : TF536 with Atari firmware
Next couple of TF536s ready to go for the Atari.
These are flashed with the latest firmware which adds better compatibility with Tos2.06 and EmuTOS.
To boot from HD on Tos2.06 you will need a byte swapped ide cable. Price is £140 plus shipping each.
If there's any interest, I can build these up with 128mb of ram and with the IDE buffers fitted, enabling longer IDE cables to be used. PM me if this is of interest.

What are the buffer chips? 74HCT244s? I may retrofit them to mine.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: For Sale : TF536 with Atari firmware
Hello PhilC,
I am coming from Amiga world, but I also repair Atari using exxos advices for PSU.
I have one very easy question, the TF536 is for ST/F/FM and not STE ? I don't see any adapter on the forum, am I wrong ?
My first TF536 is on my A2000, coming from AlenPPC, I think buying a new one for my upgraded 520STF to 1024 (empty holes and add some ram sockets)
I would like to be sure that next job is to remove original MC68K CPU from board in order to add TF536 ?
Could you tell me price plus shipping to France by PM. For Atari it will be you, for Amiga I go on with AlenPPC.
Bye,
Stéphane

Re: For Sale : TF536 with Atari firmware
It’s only the ST(F)(M) and not the STE, correct.
Note that with the TF536 connected in the standard 68000 location you won’t be able to fit the shielding and it’s quite possible the keyboard and top case. You will also need a TOS 2.06 ROM address decoder.

Re: For Sale : TF536 with Atari firmware
Hello,
thanks for your reply.
I use emutos 1.0 for 1 month on my STE, but for my STF, I tried some tips but none works, I will have to buy some part to Exxos shop.
I will look at that soon.
Do you have a photo of of good installation in a ST ? Maybe a link int the forum.
bye
Stéphane

I don't remember seeing any Atari images.. But the TF536 is new and only just being produced, so almost nobody has one yet.

Not a ST(f, m) but here is mine in a Mega ST if you want to se pics. Probably the easiest Atari to install a TF536 in (not counting H4):
