In case people missed this information.. The STFM & STE DUALTOS boards with UBE chip are discontinued. The boards may still be sold (but UBE chip no longer fitted).
Basically with the reset circuits being so iffy, it was just causing unreliable operation. The reset circuits with the STE cause no end of problems with the STE booster as well. So @ube is working on a new UBE switch to replace the reset circuit with a new mini PCB which will do the DUALTOS switching and even can be used to toggle boosters on/off.
This will also help me produce DUALTOS boards quicker as I don't have to keep messing about with the SMT micros. I brought loads of them a while back, no idea where they went. So its just easier to let Urban deal with those chips.
