As many know, I took over the running of the Atari Music Network (AMN) from Malcolm Ramage a while back. I had to do a lot of fixing to the site to get it operational again, but it has been online for a while now anyway.
The site is still fully functional, but people uploading music to it has long since stopped unfortunately. I was seriously plotting re-doing the entire site making a new more user-friendly and more feature rich music website. Unfortunately time is the enemy as always, this project was abandoned. Not only that, trying to get people using the site again was a gamble, and I did not want to waste huge amounts of time doing a new site which nobody would use.
People mostly seem to use youtube, or soundcloud etc these days to host their music anyway. Of course the active people creating music on the Atari for example, while they are still active people, I do not really see worth creating a whole new site is for a few people to upload a few songs now and then to it.
I am not planning on closing the site, though I feel there is a lot of information on there still which is still relevant and useful. As I started porting articles away from Joomla already, I thought I would now start pasting over the content onto a new section on here. Ultimately having more copies of the information from AMN elsewhere can only be a good thing. I intended this forum to be a more central up for a lot of things, so make sense to move information over to here anyway.
The new forum link is as below.

There are over 130 articles to transfer over, of course is going to take a lot of time. If anyone can spare some hours to helping copy the content over, and please let me know this could take a while to do otherwise. Basically involving a lot of copy and pasting a little formatting etc.
There is also about 1.7GB of MP3 music files on the site which I have now archived. It can be downloaded from the link below.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!
