Is this related to the mouse drive. Is there a way to interupt the install

Same result on my trusty old 1040. I'm guessing the hd is cooked after a blown psu and 30yrs

So I can get a floppy hddriver installed and it sees the controller but reports the c d e drive maybe corrupt. Grrr
I was hoping there was something on the old beast. Well time for a cheap scsi2sd card
