KS update required for 060 TF cards?

Will users need to upgrade to a patched or a 3.1.4 Kickstart in order to use a full 060 CPU in the TF360/TF1260/TF4060?

I am using standard Kickstart with my CD32 and a full 060. Seems fine.
Not sure if there is (or could be) a way to soft kick a .rom into memory? As I thought you needed +3.1 to install OS 3.9 and some people have been doing that on their CD32s.

Yeah Im not sure how to works. Thinking of the A4000, Im on the understanding that if a full 060 is used in the A3660 card with 3.1 ROMS, it will black screen and not even fire up, if it doesnt fire up, it cant read from hard drive to read a ROM file into memory.

There is a small ROM on the 360 that solves that issue. There is no ROM on the 3660.
