Hi,
Newly back in the world of Amiga since I was about 13 when I spent most of my life round my mates houses who had Amiga, alas I could not afford one myself and had to make do with an Amstrad CPC 6128 (currently under repair after the monitor/psu blew frying chips).
My 11 year old son got me back into retro computer wanting to build his own, currently have a CB2 on order before he moves on to a ZX Spectrum Harlequin boards. Its great to see him appreciate the wonder of these old machines and experience the tactile and accessible electronics and re-ignites my love of the old kit.
Currently restoring a A500 (rev6a) as it was the first Amiga I saw and fell in love with and has so many fond memories but I am looking to expand my collection and dabble with all the great new addons the community has produced recently.
Makes me regret the decisions of yesteryear like getting rid of the 2 commodore PETs and the Jupitor Ace though! :(
