A1000 FlashFloppy / Gotek

Post by terriblefire »

I've heard it said that you cannot boot A1000 Kickstarts from Goteks. When it worked first time for me I was surprise.

I recently picked up a stack of these and tried one from the pile yesterday and it didnt work.

It all comes down to the jumper settings it seems. Just setting S0 and no other jumpers and it works fine.

Out of curiosity, what firmware is on the Gotek?

BTW, the S0 setting is the only one I ever use on my ST Goteks, internal or external.
