You would have thought that my next 'natural' move would have been to get an Atari ST but fate would it, that around 1987 I was at a computer conference in Copenhagen and saw something that completely changed my mind that day, I saw Defender of The Crown on an Amiga and from that day on, I knew I had to switch side, so when the Amiga 500 was launched, I got one and was extremely happy with that machine - actually so happy, that when Commodore released the A1200 I got one of those also, then maybe 2 years later I jumped ship for the PC, didn't we all
The thing is, I never got to try out an Atari ST, so just recently I bought an Atari 1040 STE and at the moment, I am eagerly awaiting a video cable I bought on ebay, I also ordered an Ultrasatan Mini which is, at the moment, stranded somewhere in a Spanish post-office, probably delayed because of this business with Corona.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to trying out an Atari ST and already something is telling me, that had I got an Atari back in the day, I would probably have been perfectly happy about that.
