TF536 memory source

Post by Homer79 »

Hi,

Im wary of Chinese electronic vendors, but I've been ordering parts from here, touch wood so far I've not had issues with there components.

https://lcsc.com/product-detail/SDRAM_M ... 26393.html

Wishing for people to get decent prices, is this the correct memory?

Regards

That does seem like the right memory, but i suggest getting it from Mouser instead. The price difference is small.

Just looking through all these old simms I have and so far I have a few likely suspects.

@terriblefire Could you fit less ram to the TF536, for instance if you had the 32mb variants of the above would 32mb work without problem?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Yes the final version of the firmware will support that.

Thanks for confirming @terriblefire I may try it on one of the boards as well as 128mb on another.

@8 Bit Dreams mentioned in another thread he used SAMSUNG K4S561632-UC75 and it worked fine. These were marginally cheaper than
the MT48LC16M16A2P-6A:G. Have ordered both will see how the SAMSUNG goes.
