Re: hard disc / cf partitioning software
In all honesty the best option is HDDRIVER.
It is a fully supported driver that supports all types of drive and comes with the tools you'd need to prep a CF card, or any other type of hard drive for that matter. The latest version even includes Blitter acceleration.
You can get it here: https://www.hddriver.net/en/
Whilst it isn't cheap at €46, it is still in development and the most flexible driver for the Atari ST.
PP does also sell a driver here: http://www.8bitchip.info/atari/pphdr.php which is €15, but it is usually specific for the interface you have and will only work with that, which is why I prefer HDDRIVERs flexibility.
PPs driver does take less space in memory, but since you have 4MB RAM that won't be an issue.
You can still find the ICD Pro drivers on the web, but they are getting long in the tooth and you'd be better off getting something more modern.

Uwe's driver really is very good. As you say, it is not cheap, but it's a price you will pay once, and it will always work, on every Atari, with every controller, and every drive. It's a good investment in my opinion.rubber_jonnie wrote: 08 May 2020 09:17 In all honesty the best option is HDDRIVER.
