DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!
Please make sure you are logged in for at least 2 hours
to make sure your IP is added into the firewall whitelist, thanks :)

Deoxit, Electrolube and flux

Post by Maximilian »

On the bench there is a battered, oxidised and slightly rusted (the cover was rusted) motherboard.

As far as I can see there is no battery acid damage, but it looks bad at the moment.
But i'm up for the challenge and hopefully i will at least get a good donor board out of it.
The bad sockets i will replace, but i would like to keep the chips.

Normally I use Kontakt PCC, but is Deoxit or Electrolube better?
Both have many different versions, witch versions are the best for this kind of work?

What is the best flux gel for SMD that is available in Europe from Farnel, RS or Conrad?

Thanks for the info!
