Busy Bee in EmuTos
I know that alternative desk and cursor icons are located in the Extras folder and that I should be able to run these by placing them in the root directory, but I'm not having any joy. If anyone can explain how to do this I will make a youtube video on how to do it for people like myself.

Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
Might be worth you posting this on the EmuTos Facebook page?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
"Root" refers to the root directory of your boot device, obviously. E.g. C:\ if you boot from HD.https://github.com/emutos/emutos/blob/d62d75904fd65aafbe208de5ae16a5f5e30021d4/readme.txt#L18 wrote: To use a replacement set, copy the files containing the desired mouse cursors to the root, and rename them to emucurs.rsc/emucurs.def.
PS: Just tested it, works as expected.

Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
It's not working for me. The cursor looks the same.

Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
Which RSC file did you use? If it's not one of the ones distributed with EmuTOS, please post it here. Which exact EmuTOS version did you use?

Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
EMUCURS1.RSC. (tried others too)
I'm using version 0.9.12
It's likely I'm missing something obvious to others.

copy files emucurs1.def / emucurs1.rsc to C:\ and rename them to emucurs.def / emucurs.rsc
the same with emuicon0.def / emuicon0.rsc, copy to C:\ and rename them to emuicon.def / emuicon.rsc

Re: Busy Bee in EmuTos
See how it works for me:
(Note that this video is with a current EmuTOS snapshot, but I successfully tested it with the 0.9.12 release, too.)
