A500 USB keyboard interface

Post by Homer79 »

Hi,

I modified a design for a PS2 keyboard adapter to have a usb socket instead. Its possible due to the way sloppy older PC's bio's work
I would like to find a couple of people in the UK with a 500 & wireless keyboard to see if they work or not. Giving a couple away is
cheaper than buying them. It works fine for the three usb keyboards I have. PM me if interested

regards

Hi.
I can also offer to help.
I have some 500's and 4 different USB keyboards including 1 of those little handheld wireless ones popular with Rasberry Pi's.
I will drop you a PM.
Cheers

Thank you, whoever asked for one will get posted on monday. I've added the power
and floppy led's after somebody said it would save plugging in the keyboard when
repairing 500's.

Is there a list of keyboard pinouts for desktops? a few people with 1000's have asked
if it would work, from my understanding it should, I just need to put a RJ10 plug on it.
