Weird floppy drive issue.

Post by Cosmic Puppet »

Since I started using EmuTos I get this odd issue. Just tested copying a disk using the correct Fast Copy Pro settings, which went perfectly except... the drive didn't stop. I've noticed this for a while now. Double clicking on the desktop A: drive, opens up the disk folder which then stops the disk. This started when I started using EmuTos.

This seems to be a normal behavior of FCP... not only on EmuTOS.

What does FCP stand for?

With TOS104 FCP turns off the floppy motor when its finished. Can't speak for EMUTOS has don't really use it.

TOS206 keeps the floppy motor on by default for about 5mins after the machine is turned on, no idea why. But it behaves fine after about 5 mins. Assume its some odd feature.

When I load System Info, it lists OS as 2.06 under EmuTos. If it does that I just double click the A drive and it stops when the folder opens. I then close the folder and carry on. Oh, the quirks!
