Aros on TerribleFire

Post by terriblefire »

Does anyone have any experience with Aros 68K. I've never managed to get it to work even on the later Tf330/tf536/tf360 series boards.

Seems to me the TF360 is made for AROS.

Don't forget to run Winimage as Administrator, otherwise you'll be scratching your head :)

Is it failing to write or just not picking the file up?

Version 9.0 :

Run as Admin.
"Disk" menu.
Restore virtual Hard Disk image on physical drive.
Choose device from list.
Change file extensions to *.*
Choose and open .hdf
Yes to begin writing straight away.

*Edit* No 'happy' message when writing completes, just returns to main window.

I will just add If you are creating the VHD on WinUAE , I found that when I tried setting up a system VHD and then writing it to Cf it never really worked for me, that`s why I always set up my systems on a real CF first using WinUAE and then imaging it , never have probelms this way

The system already exists i'm trying to dump it onto a CF card..

Basically I'm trying to see how AROS gets on a CD32 with an 80Mhz 060.
