MMU + RamTest

Post by terriblefire »

I've noticed a few people have reported that SysTest freezes when CPU FASTROM is on or MMU libs are installed. This is to be expected.

Why?

Because the Memory test code trashes the MMU tables and this causes unpredictable behaviour.

In short test RAM with MMU off unless your RAM tool knows about and avoids trashing the MMU tables.
