Hello

Post by arkadiusz.makarenko »

Hi
I have been fixing 8-bit computers for last few years, but 16-bit smd were too difficult. Now it is time to learn how to do it.
I would love to stay from building tf card for A500, then move on to work on my A1200 and expand some my STE and STFM.

Yeah SMD can be tricky. People on TF's are probably the guys to ask about best methods for doing it.

I did a couple of quick videos on using a gas iron...Its normally how I do them.

Yes. I have ordered some smd kits to try.

I will be looking for ways to move stfm from totally cracked case to some kind desktop case replacement. It is to have space for potential expansions.
