I recently got given for free both a SM124 and SM125 monitors for free, however I was told they'd need overhauled to get working again.
I'd like to ask though about the viability of getting either one or both of these restored back to working order? Are either worth the cost of being repaired?
If either would be good for a repair , can anyone recommend someone UK based that knows what they're doing that would be willing to take on repairing / recapping etc these monitors please?

At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

I don't think there is anyone who repairs these at all anymore. I have two or three of them in the loft which I do not know what to do with. Mostly they seem to just get chucked out and nobody bothers with them. The cost of shipping and paying someone to re-cap ec I think is going to end up costing a lot more than the monitors are worth.
Sorry it is not very constructive. I think most people just use cheap LCD TV these days (with scart connections for RGB normally).
