From what you can see did I get a good deal , ie: do these machines go for more than this?

Ya, I agree its possible but based on the sellers "couldn't test" and 2/4 meg case parts begs the question has much was the seller drinking when he heard the hard disk spin up? Yeah, I'd take that bet if this was a European unit so I agree that it's unlikely.
