I have a couple of Atari ST machines and both seem to have the same slightly bowed spacebar with a hairline crack on the front, in the middle.
Is this a common thing, or as I am prone to be, just unlucky?
Can all registered uses please login, even just for a few minutes..

I'll need to go into the loft to do it. I only noticed because I had been on this forum and finally put the xmas tree away yesterday (don't judge me).
The bending is very very slight but the cracks appear the same.
I'll get them down after the weekend and post some pics.

I've seen this on old PC keyboards that had been used a lot for word processing. The keys were quite shiney and the spacebar had worn thin in the middle. Maybe it's something similar?
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
