DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!
Please make sure you are logged in for at least 2 hours

Which RAM Upgrade to you suggest

Post by leon22 »

Hi!

Is it better to use the STF/M 4MB SIMM - C070789 [0020] Upgrade in combination with Booster 2.3
and STFM KIT DUAL TOS [0131] or 4MB MMU TYPE RAM UPGRADE [0035]?

-> my mainboard is an Atari STFM 1040 C070789 Rev.E!

Are there any differences at all or is it only a matter of how much work I want to invest?! ;-)

Thank you for your help!

Peter

The 0020 SIMM kits is actually discontinued now. The only one still selling is 0035

Ok, and how do you connect the 16MHz wire to the shifter IC? (it's not the original if
the RAM Kit is applied -> I found no information for this scenario in your Booster 2.3 explanation)

Or let's ask differently: where is Pin 39 of the Shifter IC on your replacement?!

Thank you!

Ah now I see: it's just an adapter for the original IC not a replacement!

Thank you for the quick reply!
