MMU SMT ADAPTERS - WIP

Post by exxos »

Somewhere I mentioned about the lack of PLCC MMU & GLUE, and that I have small stock of SMT versions which I may build onto the possible future mongrel motherboard...

Meanwhile, it does look like a SMT to PLCC adapter could be possible...

The problem will be costs involved in getting these made, it could may well end up rather expensive compared to other chips have been, but as they're not so easy to obtain any more, then we need some sort for solution spares..

BEST has the MMU listed as $40, Which is simply ridiculous, like a lot of their prices.. But I am reasonably confident this adapter board would still be around half that price..

Totally forgot about this board again...

I've added it into my shopping trolley for PCBs to order :)

Still need to do the GLUE version yet...

Dang it...

The 80 pin pinout doesn't list the GND connections

Does anyone have a board they can check ??? I don't seem to have one :(

Ah, mine is 68 pins. So there are ST revisions that have a 80 pins GLUE. Learning new stuff every day.
