video mod query

Hi folks,

Just had my falcon mobo out of its case to do a internal scsi adapter install.

i noticed some sort of video mod on the bottom of the case,

can anyone identify what it does ?

bit worried as my monitor which works ok on my ste in 15khz, has no always been great on falcon, maybe the extra resolutions perhaps.

What is the SMT cap number under that 103 cap ? Assume its just some bodged repair..

c35 or c36 i believe.

I had a quick looks, cant see it anywhere..

if its a fix, not sure what it would be fixing,

and what impact it would have by removing it
