Does anyone have a copy of the Software and the Manual for a Progate 50dc External Hard Drive unit for a Atari?

Protar disk manager V4.14 maybe the name

Sadly no, I have now purchased 6 of these units off eBay hoping that one would come with the software, but alas none have yet, will keep trying.

I have a drive but the hard disk is done. And scsi hdd are very hard to do a sector recovery on. I just set up a scsi2sd to replace it. And will use hddriver. I have a friend who is a guru at finding archived software look to. I will update you if I have any luck. I was hoping I could get the drive running and look on it for drivers. It could also be setup for a amiga

Where did you get the disc image from? I really could do with a copy, just cannot find it anywhere...

The image is on a hard drive that will not start and the atari can not read. Maybe a pc with a adapter scsi and better recovery software could.

Oh Bugger, thats a bloody shame, Hopefully a PC may be able to read it, fingers crossed...

I live on the west coast of Canada if anyone on the fourm has the equipment to look at drive there welcome to have the drive. I'm just going to put is on my storage shelf and put a scsi2sd in its place

Well after 3 hrs on the pc scsi port and back to the atari I have this.
