Hi, One the of the local Brisbane Atari crew (Gazak28) has a Falcon 030 which has an add-in daughter board we have been advised is called an Eagle. Apparently these are quite rare. We are looking for information on what it is and does. I have attached a photo of the top of the module which is connected just below the PSU to the main system board.
From the words that are visible on the top it looks like GE SOFT EAGLE ??????? 32.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Going by the bottom, doesn't look like much logic, so assume a faster 030 CPU ? take image other side :)

Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module
I have asked Gazak28 if he could remove the module and take a photo. I have also suggested running GEMBench to see if the results show any performance difference to a stock Falcon.

It's a Mighty Sonic : 68030 at 32 MHz.
Working ones : MegaSTE (68020) / TT030 / Falcon with AB040 & Eclipse / 1040STF
Need testing : Falcon with CT2

Looks like an Eagle Sonic to me. Doesn't appear to have any SIMM slots.

Yep, sorry, Eagle Sonic 68030@32MHz.
There is only one CPLD on it to do the signal sync with the falcon.

Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module
I think you need to lift 2 pins (I think it's BR and BG but not sure) as with all of the board they did (Mighty Sonic and AfterBurner 040) and wire it to GND or something like this (As my falcon no longer has a 68030 I don't have to worry about that with my AfterBurner).

Re: Atari Falcon Eagle add-in module
Sounds like we got the answer as to what is and what it does. I will still see if we can get a photo of the other side for the records. I will also see if we can get some benchmarks with GEMBench.
Thanks for the support and information everyone.
