What to do with my spare Raspberry Pi's

Well setting up Caffeine O/S was actually very simple. In fact it took me longer to find out how to enable the Frame Thrower than it did to get it to boot in the first place.

The latest version does come with Frame Thrower support built in, it just needs enabling by using the Caffeine Command line tool editor.

I'd be interested to see the FrameThrower setup if you have pics.

My A1200 just outputs direct to DVI/HDMI via an Indivision adapter and I have a 2nd display via the RPi. A500 already had RGB2HDMI installed so I just use that and the RPi HDMI out.

Maybe once I've tidied up a bit

I seem to have gone from having largely no RPis to having them all over the place!!!

I have two Zeros in my A500, one 4B in my A1200, another 3B doing duty in the PiMT-32, another Zero 2 W I've used for I2C programming on my workbench and a 3B that came with the PiStorm I got from Exxos for the ST.

I do have an OG RPi from when they first came out (Can't do a lot with it now) and an RPi 5 that is dead that somebody gave me on the basis of 'fix it and it's yours. It's not fixed yet...

And that's not including the various Pico's I have, so two in My Apple II for VGA and CPM card, one each in my A8 Picocarts and one each in my Pirto II & PiColeco carts for the Intellivision and Coleco respectively.

Pico-8 runs well on a OG 256mb Pi. And easy to also run it on a CRT.
There is a separate program which will autoboot into Pico-8 so the boot time on even this OG is really good.
You just put SDcard into PC to copy games, or plug in Ethernet and then can access their server.

Some very clever games created in the limitations of this Fantasy Console.
I am pretty sure you can just play the games in a Browser for free to see what it all about.
