Centipedes a classic - one of my faves. Reminds me I need to scour ebay for loose carts again soon
That's a good picture btw - much better than my Vader

Aha. That'll explain it then :Dexxos wrote: 28 Sep 2023 14:05Mine has a scart mod ;) Well, after a long road of composite chaos.
Plus clicky push switches ;)
Must do it to mine one day - or just buy a 2600+

@exxos i have a couple of phoenix carts here, I’ll bring you one.
Was actually wondering about having that as the competition game.

Thanks but I found it :D
I've not played it much since my teens. Always wished there was more levels or something on it though . Likely my game time would be limited to about half an hour anyway because it would likely hurt my hands  I remember I got very good at Pole position back in the day, it was not what score I could get, but how many times I could get it to go back to zero
I found my "bug" joystick and a couple of regular controls, no idea if they work yet tho.
BTW, hows it going to be with power is everyone taking extension leads or something ? Or is there power all around the hall ?

@exxos theres quite a few sockets and I have a few spare extensions but any tables in the middle will need longer ones. My bug joystick had a resistor on the left switch which I had to remove to get it to work

A dark corner table will be fine for me :lol:PhilC wrote: 28 Sep 2023 17:50 @exxos theres quite a few sockets and I have a few spare extensions but any tables in the middle will need longer ones.

Bit difficult for me to test stuff at the moment because my printer is in the way. Probably just end up gambling it works. I got a couple stigma rays which I am pretty sure work though they tend to be a bit hard on the wrists.

HI,
I m terribly sorry but the go-live of the project I am working on (work related) has been just delayed and lands on the exact weekend we have our Cyber Legends... Unfortunately I have to work whole weekend so won't be able to turn up with my Atari an Fujinet. If anything changes I will let you know. Again very sorry :(

Anyone got a known good null modem cable they could bring with them? I have ordered one but it hasn't arrived yet and so I'll have almost no time to test before the show (assuming it even arrives before the show). Thx. I did have one from back in the day but it doesn't seem work.

I've left it a bit late, but have popped up a promotional video for next Sunday:
@alexh IIRC with my null modem cable I had to tie a couple of pins together to get things recognised by the software. Could have been DCD to DTR. Was accomplished by a small loop of wire around two diagonal pins on the DB25 side.
