I don't know how to link a previous post, go back to page 5 and scroll down. It's either use adapters, or solder headers to the NOVA PCB.

You take two of these wirewarp 13mm VG DIN 41612 64pin socket strips and shorten them accordingly. After soldering, the pins stick out at least 11mm at the top and the Nova can plug it in there.frank.lukas wrote: 05 May 2023 22:19 ... there are wirewarp 13mm VG DIN 41612 64pin strips that can be modified/adapted. as with the StromTT and Thunder cards for the Atari TT where the pins look out of the top of the board to put the next board in.

Fitting two expansions into a single expansion slot is left as an exercise for the reader. ;)MegaSTEarian wrote: 09 May 2023 18:07 Nice one. Yeah, that's the way, I know it. I was just stating that this is not likely to be done by Exxos -but I don't want to speak for himself.

The connector with the side exiting header I've used on top the Mighty Sonic and Afterburner. Both top and bottom.Badwolf wrote: 10 May 2023 10:33Fitting two expansions into a single expansion slot is left as an exercise for the reader. ;)MegaSTEarian wrote: 09 May 2023 18:07 Nice one. I had an Expose connected to ribbon cable, and Nova atop the adapter.
I cut the termination trace on the Nova, and allowed the Expose to be the last card in the chain.
It works fine. However, I'm thinking it's not really like SCSI termination (my first reasoning), As long as one of the connected expansion cards is terminated.
If that's what you meant :)

Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests
Anyway back to the plot at hand.
Managed to clear off my credit card and just paid for 25 DFB1X boards to be built. It will take them a week to obtain the parts before assembly even gets underway. Though I need to box up and send them the PGA sockets yet anyway. Will likely send that off next week as cannot be bothered to do it today.
There may not be enough boards in this batch for everybody who declared interest, but I will certainly consider doing a second batch if there is again sufficient demand later on.

Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests
Tiny update. Finally managed to pack the sockets up to ship to China today. They should have got the BOM parts by now. So I hope maybe next week there might be some assembly progress.
