Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Great to see you've got it running. Are you bringing it to Cyber Legends?
I know, it's so tiny even mobiles have more RAM these days.

It amuses me that my 16GB M1 Macbook Pro seems to perform better than my 32GB work laptop...

If I can get to CL this year (I'd like to) then I'll bring it along, probably my SoC MK14 as well.

If I can get my Cosmac Elf II built by then I can bring it too.

Well my RAM arrived today, and so far I've added up to 24kb and it's all worked perfectly 😁

In addition I've now been able to boot to CP/M for the system.

I feel like an archaeological explorer 😁

I was wondering if you’d had time to fit it.

I need to fit the rest but too tired tonight having been into London for work today, but so far every bit of my Ali Express RAM haul has been fine, just another 8kb to fit.

It's slow going as I have to fit 2 ICs (1kb) at a time then test to make sure each set of RAM works.

It's looking like I should have spares having bought 50 and only needing 36.

OK, so it's all installed :)

And I believe (Based on my calculations) that this is showing the correct amount of RAM:

And I can boot to CP/M just fine:

And DIR works but I haven't tried much else:

I'm running a RAM test, but I had 36 RAM ICs to install and just one was faulty, so I have quite a few spares now, which is great. I need to do some more mechanical assembly so the two boards are physically attached. I don't intend to put it in a case at this point (Maybe later) so I have some feet coming that should help keep it lifted up and supported.
