But, the floppy/Gotek still does not work. I did swap the WD1772, but still does not work. Added the resistors to the address lines; still does not work. Removing the resistors also does not work (that's a little unsettling for me, because that means installing them changed/burned something). The exact message I get is:
Data on the disk in drive
A: may be damaged.
The other thing that I noticed (but I'm not sure it was not happening before, when the floppy did work) is that the activity light on the keyboard, and the green led (also activity) in the Gotek, keeps rapidly blinking.
Again, still looking, but any tips are welcome.
