May I suggest the following hash tag on Twitter and Bluesky: #cyberlegends2024
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Its my girlfriends parents 50th that weekend as well :roll: Though I can't drive much or do much at the moment anyway :(
@alexh and @viking272 Well thats a real shame. :(

It seems even with polling for the most suitable dates, we still cant cover all bases.

@exxos Does that mean its a definite 'no' from you then?
stephen_usher wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2024 12:41 pm Well, I can bring a projector now as I've purchased one from work.
I would be very grateful if you could do that. i will bring a backup PA/projector.
npturton wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2024 1:19 pm not got a ticket yet, can I buy them on the door?
Tickets are easy to book here: viewtopic.php?p=118960#p118960

However, we also sell tickets on the door.

I do hope you can make it there. :D

@exxos Oh, thats a shame.

Looks like we will really have to get a video of the event sorted this time then.

Hi Stephen. What inputs do you have on the projector?

Two sleeps 'til Cyber Legends III.

I wish I could say that everything's ready and packed but it's not.

I've a few floppies to make first thing this evening, and change the ink ribbon in the printer and test. Then I need to start packing things up in an orderly fashion so that I can quickly put them in the car on Saturday morning after coming back from the weekly shop.

Usually I'd stage things in my living room before one of these events but that's still full of stuff rescued from my Dad's house.

Yes unfortunately I can't come. My little boy (who was supposed to be at his mums) has football all morning, it always over-runs a bit and given the weather forecast he will probably need to go home for a bath, it's a 2hr drive from here so by the time we got there it would be almost time to come back. Bah! Enjoy everyone.
