TT030 Reset Issue

Hello Everyone,

I forgot to distinguish between the 2 photos of my TT030 Motherboard.

Photo 1 (My TT030 Motherboard 2.jpg) is of the metal cover that sits on the little PCB.
Photo 2 (My TT030 Motherboard.jpg) is of the small PCB in question, that wobbled when I touched it.

You know you can edit your posts for a few hours by clicking the pencil bottom ? It's a saves having to do multiple posts and corrections because it then gets confusing.. You can also delete your posts for a few hours by clicking the X button if you need to.

On mine that PCB does have ground points on the bottom edges which are soldered to the grounds on the bottom of the motherboard. It's not really important since you don't have a VME card plugged in.

Sounds like I should resolder those ground points on the bottom of the motherboard, in the event I do have an occasion to install a VME Card, correct? Will soldering those ground points make the PCD more steady and not wobble? I mean on my TT motherboard it does not look as if it was soldered, just stuck through the slots on the motherboard.

X deletes your post forever.
The pencil lets you edit your post.

You don't "edit" posts to delete them. You do one or the other.

Got it. I edited the original to correct my mistake. I just wanted to delete the second post I submitted to correct the first one, which I have edited, so that it is correct. Since the second post is not redundant, I wanted to remove it.

Where would I find the "X" ? I have the Pencil, Exclamation Point, and Quote buttons in the top right corner of my posted messages.

You can solder the ground points if you want, it won't do any harm. I soldered mine. But it's probably perfectly stable when the VME bracket is connected, so in the end it probably doesn't really matter.

ah sorry users can't delete posts it seems, I thought they could for a set time. I will work on this later. But just report the posts you want to delete and and put "please delete" for the reason and a moderator will sort it for you.
