Please keep this thread updated. I’m thinking of doing this upgrade and there are plenty of pitfalls here.

I am in the USA so it is more of a financial commitment to ship to you guys in the UK. Is there some basic thing I can attempt to fix the sound?

Just to be sure.., you have got the keyboard plugged in ?

Ohh, yeah that's the problem. Yeah, I had asked something earlier in the thread about should it work okay without the keyboard, but yeah, the sound is gone with it plugged in. Glad to know that the unit is working normally. Thanks!

I'm not sure if you full tested continuity if the shifter board to cable yet ? You should really be running if all checks out... I would also suggest you don't have any bent pins on the MMU board and wipe them with IPA.
