Re: PiStorm Chat
I would suggest keeping at least one USB port. You may find it useful when installing software, to connect a USB keyboard and mouse

Re: PiStorm Chat
I would assume I would still need the riser if keeping one of the ports because of the height ?dad664npc wrote: 12 Apr 2024 10:28 I would suggest keeping at least one USB port. You may find it useful when installing software, to connect a USB keyboard and mouse

Re: PiStorm Chat
I thought you were going to use an H5? In which case, I think leaving the furthest USB port stack might clear everything

Re: PiStorm Chat
As it's a Pi 4 you'll need a heatsink on the CPU and chipset chips with some sort of fan.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I don't use a fan, however, my Pi stands vertically.exxos wrote: 12 Apr 2024 10:35ah, wish someone had mentioned that before I did the order.stephen_usher wrote: 12 Apr 2024 10:33 As it's a Pi 4 you'll need a heatsink on the CPU and chipset chips with some sort of fan.
There aren't many of us using PiStorm to be fair, and every setup seems to be different, meaning there is no defacto setup.
