No if i wrote that it was a typo 😆 It’s the same problem in that Amiga 1200.
Next step is to try another TF1260 and see of that works. The problem started when i installed the TF1260, there were no problem when i had the TF1230 in the very same Amiga and with the same expansions.

Yes it will be good if you can test with another TF1260 and get to the bottom of it

What happens if you test with the keyboard not fitted and the top of the case not installed.?
Can we get a picture of the machine with everything fitted?

Does the RTC work when you do not have the TF1260 installed?

I'll try the computer without keyboard and top of case tonight. Will report when that is tested.

Here's a pic of the inside with everything fitted: https://i.postimg.cc/DwghvChT/IMG-7699.jpg

Yes, the RTC works fine if TF1260 is not installed, OR if remove jumper 060-enable on the card. It works also with my TF1230-card.

Strange,

Interesting RTC, I see that GadgetUK has about the same setup:

Could you also try with the temperature sensor removed?

I can now confirm success by connecting a HD/CF-adapter to the internal IDE did the trick, the computer boots up fine and i also see the RTC.
It was that other guy that i mentioned erlier in the thread that had the exact same problem as me that figured this out.

So to clarify this:

If i have an RTC connected the kickstart/ehide-startup is NOT happy if i don't have anything connected to internal IDE.
If i don't have an RTC connected the kickstart/ehide-startup is ignoring that the internal IDE doesn't have anything connected to it and boots fine on ehide.

Supaduper, do you have anything connected to your internal IDE?

I do not have any thing on the internal IDE, I notice you use a Amigastore IDE adapter on the TF1260 have you tried just a IDE to cf adapter or as I use a IDE to sd adapter which I find work very well

EDIT**

SOLVED

I have the same IDE to cf adapter as you ( see pic below) and tried that on my Tf1260 and yes using that adapter I can create the same problem as you, so the problem is the IDE to cf adapter, change it to a IDE to SD or normal IDE to CF adapter and you will have no problems

Great news that you can produce the exact problem.
I will try a simple IDE to CF-adapter as soon as i’m back home from vacation 😊

I always recommend an IDE to SD adapter for the best experience with the Amiga, I only use these now and find them the most reliable
