Thanks. Paid.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: Cyber Legends 2024 Questions and discussion
Sadly, I don't think I'm going to be able to attend this year
My daughter is going to an open day at Loughborough Uni the same day & looking at the times and logistics of getting her there/then getting down to the event & back to collect her & then home makes it impractical - I'd get to the event & have to leave under an hour later.
:cussing: :sigh:
Hugely disappointed by this...but I'll try and show my support by buying a ticket (for the raffle if nothing else) in the next week or so.
Trying to get ready to drop my son in his new accommodation in Manchester for the start of the next term at Uni next weekend, so that is the current focus.
Hoping that someone will take some video (as for the previous events) so I can catch up on much of the content afterwards!

Sorry to hear that Jez. :(
Hopefully next time then?
I will do my best with getting the details ready earlier next year.

Unfortunately can't make it as on holiday that week, but I've bought a raffle ticket to support it.

Me too - hopefully yes.mrbombermillzy wrote: 08 Sep 2024 13:05 Sorry to hear that Jez. :(

It's not the short time between organising the event and it happening, just an unfortunate clash on dates and the distance meaning I can't easily do both on the same day.

Is anyone interested in any specific hardware or software? I can't bring everything but may consider coming along if anyone wants something specific like:
Falcon
TT
Mega ST
Mega STE
SC 1435 Boxed
SM 124
Just too much to list...

Personally I would split it, half prime stuff TT/Falcon and half stuff you want to shift at discount maybe.atarifreakz wrote: 08 Sep 2024 23:14 Is anyone interested in any specific hardware or software? I can't bring everything but may consider coming along if anyone wants something specific like:

Having stuff to buy in front of you will always have more sway for the consumer than the 'distance' of online. I myself am a sucker for buying stuff i don't 'need' but its in front of me so take my money type thing.
Thanks.

All depends on price. I would like to buy a TT030 but I would expect that you probably want more than I can justify. I sent you a PM.
I have a Falcon030 in a Lighthouse Desktopper Case (they are very strange things) and I've seen you selling bits for them and a poster, I'd be interested in buying one of whatever you have (and perhaps learning how you got them).

The only Atari i still want and don't have is a TT too.
I can wait till the retro bubble bursts but i won't pay silly money as most are going for nowadays.
