Booting to TOS 1.0 from floppy disk.

Always good to see and hear new things.

I noticed the boot TOS's have a thinner Atari logo (both the US and UK versions) than the TOS 1.0 that came with my Atari.

This was the info screen from my TOS 1.0 ROMs:

I have the same problem. Seltos never worked for me. Tried loads with it, all sorts of images, gave up in the end. Problem is TOS needs a lot of hacks to work from RAM. When the hacks don't work, neither does TOS. There is only EMUTOS which will behave.

Try these:

US_UK TOS LOADERS.zip

The UK version has these in the menu:

p.s. I'd forgotten about TOS 1.0s nerve wracking pauses, where it just sounds like it's crashed. :lol:

You can load in any TOS image into its flash ROM , direct from that TOS image site. There's a video in my YouTube showing how easy it is to program... Oh you really need a H5 as well :lol:
