Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests
As of today. All remaining boards have the latest firmware flashed. V140. There is a sticker on the back with the firmware version on as well now.

Exxos, is this applicable only to your version of the DFB1 or will it work for the orginal DFB1?exxos wrote: 23 Aug 2023 20:00 Don't forget guys there is a firmware update for it!

The DFB1 and the DFB1X firmware are not crosscompatible.coonsgm wrote: 30 Aug 2023 17:31 Exxos, is this applicable only to your version of the DFB1 or will it work for the orginal DFB1?

Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests
While back in this thread Badwolf mentioned something about loading EmuTos on the DFBX to customers for testing.
Aside from the Falcon version of EmuTos, will an 030 version (not up to date on all the variants) and say, perhaps NOVA VDI boot?
Have a half baked idea in the dark half of the brain.

No such things as a Falcon version of EmuTOS, but you'll likely need the 512k version to boot.Rustynutt wrote: 02 Sep 2023 22:00 While back in this thread Badwolf mentioned something about loading EmuTos on the DFBX to customers for testing.

AFAIK it supports Nova out the box.

Re: DFB1X Falcon booster buyers interests
Is there any interest in "untested" DFB1X ?
I've got 27 PGA sockets in my China stock. After that, there likely won't be anymore fully made as its to much of a faff to ship the sockets to China now. So they will be almost fully assembled, bar the PGA socket. They will not be tested, Have no CPU or FPU and will not be flashed.. and no there won't be any other options.
Fully built tested is £227 in the store. Though the next batch might end up being more because costs of stuff tend to go up.
Price for "untested" will be about £140 each. Again depends on current part prices etc.
These will likely be pre-order and a "one off" offer. This is because its just not cost effective to get stuff built in lower quantities. I may well get 5 done anyway, but after that id need a order of 25 minimum else the costs just end up being to much.
