After viewing the eBay link for the Jaguar device, had to ask my son what he paid maybe 3 months ago. $259.00, including tax and shipping. US based.

I know. Then a gain a fool and his money are easily parted.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I paid the full UK RRP for mine (£179?). RetroHQ and I shared a house for a year when we worked for Argonaut. No mates-rates here :)

Not Atari but look at the price and images...

Just WHY do people want silly money for faulty motherboards and WHO would be crazy enough to buy the things ?!

I've seen it a lot this past week while looking for a particular motherboard. It's not like you can really reuse anything off the things other than the battery and heatsinks which are not worth anything and not like they gonna go wrong anyway.

Also..

That looks so dodgy :D

Could be a joke or mistake but it reeks of money laundering or something.

Bit excessive, mine, albeit with fewer accessories, was £400. I have heard these are hard to come by in the US, so the price may reflect that, but it seems to me it's more like TT money.
Collector of many retro things!
800XL and 65XE both with Ultimate1MB,VBXL/XE & PokeyMax, SIDE3, SDrive Max, 2x 1010 cassette, 2x 1050 one with Happy mod, 3x 2600 Jr, 7800 and Lynx II
Approx 20 STs, including a 520 STM, 520 STFMs, 3x Mega ST, MSTE & 2x 32 Mhz boosted STEs
Plus the rest, totalling around 50 machines including a QL, 3x BBC Model B, Electron, Spectrums, ZX81 etc...
