There ended up being 17 which are in the store now. I still need to finish testing , so there may be a few days before some peoples are shipped out.

There are 3 more, but not sure what the problem with them is yet, so can't guarantee they will make it to the store any time soon.

#ping people.

Chris, are the boards you have working at 50MHz been spoken for already?
Forgot what you've decided on how to release those, or if there is a different batch.
Thanks!

Never mind.
Probably doesn't matter in my case, I'll likely render it useless anyway

Order in :D
Thanks for the effort.

I've given up with 50MHz for now.. Was taking to long to keep swapping chips about (and my hands are killing me again which isn't helping) .

Though I think if the FPU is disabled, most of the CPU's will likely run at 50MHz. I think the majority of them did indeed pass TTRAM tests at 50MHz. But Finding 50MHz FPU's is the real problem.

I quickly tried a firmware tweak on a board which was failing at 40MHz, which now works at 50MHz (but I need to do more tests) so it is possible some people may get lucky with the next round of firmware when it is released.

Though I think it is unlikely any of the shipped FPU's will work at 50MHz. so there could be ultimately the option of, not using the FPU, clocking it at half speed (25MHz) or wait until I can verify 50MHz capable FPUs. Though if I have to buy 50 FPUs and test each one for reliability at 50MHz.. It quickly becomes extremely time-consuming and expensive just for the sake of 10MHz.. So really begs the question is it worth it as I could potentially end up charging like £100+ per FPU!

Currently finding FPUs which will overclocked to 50MHz is a time-consuming endeavour. And I believe I broke one of the FPU sockets and keeps in keeping swapping them about. So I am not currently sure how to mass test FPUs without potentially destroying another DFB1X

This is all basically why I just shipped it as 40MHz. As 50MHz boards would soak up a lot of time and money how things are currently. So I need to look into how I can mount a ZIF socket for the FPU next somehow.. But currently myself and @Badwolf Are working on various firmware fixes among other things, which is soaking up our time.

Ordered. Now I just have to boost my energy levels!
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

This is it, right? https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0260

Can I order now and wait until you are good to go 50MHz? I am totally not in a hurry.

Order is placed and paid for. The 40Mhz is enough for me, no more stress because of 10Mhz! ;)

Thank you for all the effort and work!

Greetings Uwe

Life is too short not to have an Amiga/Atari. 8-)
