100% it is, but no good if the resin won't set. If it does set then potentially it might be usable and it may be possible to graft the old key stem onto it, as I have those for the missing keys.
I do have some quite thick epoxy glue, and that may work, I'm considering trying it later, but for now, work...
I did find a way to prevent the top of the mould floating though:
When closed it puts enough pressure on the top of the mould to hold it down, but without distorting it. I added holes to allow any air to vent.
I have also decided to punch some small air vents through the top half of the mould to be sure there is no trapped air and the resin can get into all the corners.
I'll just use the needle off a syringe to do that so the hole is fine enough for air to escape.
We'll see. I have enough mould making material to have lots of attempts so we'll see where it goes.
