@zfrenchy One of the best methods I found for transferring data to/from a TT (especially if you have no other devices) is to use a BlueSCSI or ZuluSCSI.

1. SCSI doesn't need byte-swapping
2. The BlueSCSI/ZuluSCSI simply allow you to have an image file on an SD card which represents a hard disk
3. If you partition that particular hard disk as GPT/TOS/WIN compatible (HD DRIVER) you can mount it as writable inside most OS's. I think in windows you simply double click the image, or in Linux you can mount the image with Gnome disk utility.
4. Once the image is mounted, you simply copy and paste, then put the SD card back in your TT.

This is actually my favourite method now, because it doesn't require any drivers on the Atari and it's super fast.

I have a lightning VME (not installed yet)
USB 2 Ethernet adpater on the way from EBAY, Trendnet TU2-ET100, NOT APPLE, thanks ! see in this thread viewtopic.php?t=1339
