As it requires no modification to the Falcon I'd be interested.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

I'd be interested (only have the one Falcon though - and not likely to be able to afford any more given their typical selling price ATM).

Not sure re ready built or pre-assembled but definitely interested in one in some form - I just need time to save up/win the lottery etc. ;)

I was half expecting you to say you wanted one as you generally buy pretty much everything anyway :lol:

Am I really that predictable? :D

Now I just need to work the overtime to save up for it (and FlashyClock etc.) :roll:

I would be interested, thought about trying to build one but it's beyond my soldering skills and I don't want to take the chance in damaging my Falcon

The version I am doing is not very user friendly for self-assembly. It isn't impossible, but I think people would need to have the right equipment and skills to take on such a project.

I'm still not sure about the birdseed board because people would still have to buy the same parts as I would have to for assembly aswell. And that is the bulk of the cost anyway.. Actual assembly cost is normally not that much, it tends to be parts and shipping and stuff which tend to end up doubling the price of everything :roll:

Thanks for everyone's interests.

I should be able to get a more definite quote soon, now I've finished the BOM.

I'll get a price for 10 and 25 built. I'll not do a larger batch as 25 PLDs alone will cost £1,500 and I doubt there be enough demand for getting more done anyway.

Some of you mentioned your happy to pay upfront (thanks) but I'll not do that until I've got them and tested they work before I start taking payments. Also taking split payments turns into a mini nightmare keeping track of who paid what and it tends to drag on for months. So I would rather keep it to a simple store purchase.
